Balance the ship store and fuel registers

The problem

Fuel, retail, and slip charges run through different systems and never tie out.

Steps

1. Close each register separately each night
2. Match fuel gallons sold to pump meter readings
3. Reconcile house charges to member accounts
4. Note any manual tickets on the close sheet
5. Combine totals into one daily summary
